本剧以女警察冉咚咚及专案组成员侦破一桩凶杀案为主线，以女主角冉咚咚的夫妻感情生活为副线，双线交织，成功地塑造了一位追求真相、惩恶扬善的女警察形象。在侦破案件过程中，她克服了扑朔迷离的案情、丈夫是否背叛自己的心理干扰以及工作压力造成的轻度抑郁等三重困难，最终把罪犯绳之以法。 根据作家东西同名小说改编。。影片主要讲述退伍多年的老兵刘承荣自愿到“荣军医院”照顾伤残的老战友和战友的父亲，几十年风雨无阻。一次登山救援，他和“豪迈”的的姐、生无可恋的铁道工人、自闭的女大学生、看似鲁莽的山东大汉戏剧性相识，并衍生出一系列感人肺腑的志愿者群体的故事……。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents?
