Aired on HBO from 21 July 2002 to 8 September 2002。面包是一款老少皆宜的美食，在某些国家，人们甚至将面包作为每日的主食。在这世上，有英式面包，有法式长棍，有德式全麦，但却偏偏没有所谓的日式面包，对于身为纯正日本人的少年东和马（小林由美子 配音）来说，这不能不算是一种遗憾。因此，从小就对面包有着深厚感情的东和马决定走上面包的修罗之路，发誓要制作出能够代表日本的面包，让日式面包称霸全球。 东和马的秘密武器是一双比常人温度略高的手掌，人称“太阳之手”，经过这双手揉制发酵的面团总是能够为食客带来惊喜。在修炼的途中，东和马结识了热血青年河内恭介（阪口周平 配音）和面包店老板的女儿梓川月乃（大冢千寻 配音）。在三人的努力之下，他们在世界范围内的各大面包大赛中崭露头角，逐渐的朝向梦想的终点前进着。。Weapons of Death is not the most original Polizi flick you're ever likely to see, but that's not too much of a problem since the genre tends to borrow from itself often anyway.
