Using intense images and texts from Kaczynski’s pamphlets, the result is no conventional biopic but a meditative composition – and an emotional exploration of violence.。影片围绕一宗波云诡谲的“鬼楼杀人案”展开，讲述警察甄小火前往调查时遭遇的一桩又一桩险象环生、扑朔迷离的诡事。 民国晚年，时局动荡，民生飘摇，屡有少女遭红衣女鬼劫持失踪，失踪少女陈尸鬼宅之中，脚上都穿着诡异的红色绣花鞋。警局中人避之不及，唯有青年女警甄小火，不信鬼神之说，坚持追查此案。随着深入调查，一件件扑朔迷离的案件浮出水面。。
