吴敏德（钟景辉 饰）和妻子鲁小丽（李司棋 饰）结婚多年，两人感情十分要好。吴敏德是渔护署的顾问，鲁小丽则在身为家庭主妇的同时亦是烹饪学校的教师，两人一个主外一个主内，将家中大大小小的事物平衡的几近完美，鲁小丽也因此得到了女儿吴彩妮（陈法拉 饰）的敬佩，被其称为家中的“皇后”。 然而，一场意料之外的旅行改变了家中的格局，亦打破了辛苦建立的平衡，吴敏德提前退休，鲁小丽则凭借着自己的厨艺得到了一份不错的工作，两人的身份地位霎时对调，这让一向当家做主惯了的吴敏德感到很不喜欢，遂即惹出了一对的麻烦，也闹了不少的笑话。。That's Not Us is an intimate portrait of three twenty-something couples as they travel to a beach house to enjoy the last days of summer.
