主要围绕着北纬路上一个名不见经传的相声班社——万春社展开，旨在通过小园子里的小人物折射出众生相，“角儿们”在磨练技艺的过程中不断地改变着对于相声的理解、对于名利的心态、对于演员与观众之间的关系的领悟。通过该剧也希望能为观众展现相声演员台前幕后的故事，台上是嬉笑怒骂互相成就的表演者，台下是谦恭友爱相互包容的师兄弟，“台上无大小、台下立规矩”用全景模式立体展现属于相声人独有的反转魅力。。故事发生在一处专为年轻歌手、舞者及演员举办的夏令营的地方，主办人伯特亨利曾是百老汇当红作曲家，却在遭遇连串挫折后隐退，如今遇上了这群天真好动的年轻人，令他重新萌发振作念头，准备好好训练他们正式登上舞台。。Heaven Condominium might seem like a great place to live, but it soon becomes the site of a horrible tragedy.
