亚裔美国谭警官，与白人同事在追捕一黑人疑犯时，开枪射击未打中疑犯却穿墙打死一无辜黑人。随后单位工会、领导、同事都漠然应对，黑人社会民意汹涌甚至有人在谭警官家涂抹。谭警官最终被起诉，黑人女友也被牵扯进来。谭警官准备认罪并抛弃自购防身枪支时，却被警察打死。黑色幽默式的结局，美国的种族问题，不仅限于黑人哟！。The story revolves around Bhagat's struggle to get his land back from the Sarpanch of the village, who wrongfully acquired their land. Bhagat is an alcoholic, votes only for money, and often fights with his wife.。
