改编自中山七里的同名小说。描述被称为「青蛙男」的杀人鬼引发数起猎奇杀人事件，让社会引起恐慌的悬疑剧。工藤阿须加演追查猎奇杀人事件的刑警・古手川。 在一栋破败的公寓高层发现了一具女尸。尸体被包着的坐垫内侧贴着写有“今天我抓住了青蛙。试着置之不理吧。”的疑似犯罪声明的东西。 刑警古手川（工藤阿须加饰））和渡濑（鹤见辰吾饰）在追捕犯人的过程中，发生了同一犯人做的第2起杀人事件。这次是在报废工厂的汽车后备箱里发现了碎尸。由于在现场发现了类似的笔记，犯人被称为“青蛙男”，让街上的居民陷入恐怖和混乱的漩涡中。。来自湖南的新移民子圆及妹妹子缺两姊妹在香港成长，除了面对身份认同、贫穷，还有一个更大的命题：一个长年吸毒的父亲（吴慷仁饰）。 从小父亲若即若离，喜怒无常，又时常因坐牢突然消失，使两姊妹长期处于不安。小时候她们还会讨好父亲，中学她们掌握了话语权开始反抗、挣扎、逃离。长大后本以为可以彻底挣脱父亲，却发现自己喜欢的所有人事，原来都带着父亲的影子，都与童年的某个回忆有关…… 影片改编导演祝紫嫣的短篇小说。白描二十载的父女离散，记忆一对姊妹的成长悲欢。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs.
