动画的故事舞台设定在现代的涩谷之中。主角织田龙平在小学时目击过憧憬的哥哥的神秘死亡现场。现在是高中生的他，早已摆脱了当时的恶梦。和平常一样练着拳击的某天晚上，他被奇怪的生物咬了一口，坠入了一个和平常不同的梦。。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。男主林煜从小被医生世家收养，但养父母有了亲生孩子后开始偏心亲生孩子，未婚妻也更喜欢弟弟，只有奶奶真心疼爱他。上一世，奶奶病危，唯一能做手术的父亲林国栋却为了满足弟弟看海的愿望，带着全家去了海边，无视林煜的求救电话，最终奶奶病逝。。
