三年前，一场登山坠崖事件发生。登山俱乐部会员Mike遇难，俱乐部女服务生因工作失误受到谴责而自杀。Mike女友半年后与人低调结婚。不久，年轻作家柳飞云以此为蓝本，创作一本悬疑小说，但出版后却毫无声息。 三年后，创作受阻的柳飞云，在经纪人李晓峰的鼓动下，参加了一个短期豪华旅行团。柳飞云、李晓峰、大书商卓然及妻子张惠、无业游民白秀清、旅居国外的建筑设计师段新宇、画家林泉及妻子林梅一起入住了山顶1号别墅。 午夜时分，卓然却无故人间蒸发。 原来，一切与三年前的事故息息相关……。A company of friends rises in the funicular to meet unforgettably New Year's Eve on the top of the mountain. The guys are already anticipating how they will cheerfully slide down to the beat of the chimes and explosions of fireworks.
